Protein French Toast

 

Ingredients:

  • 3 slices thine-sliced bread
  • 1 egg or 3 egg whites for a higher-protein option
  • 1-2 scoops BioX Power Whey Isolate protein powder
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • optional toppings: maple syrup, powdered sugar

 

Instructions:

  • Mix 1 egg, 1-2 servings of BioX protein powder, milk, and cinnamon together in a small bowl.
  • Then stir vigorously until well combined.
  • Dip pieces of bread into the mixture and cover completely.
  • Heat up a larger skillet over medium high.
  • Spray skillet with cooking grease.
  • Add bread to the skillet and cook for 2 mins on one slide. Flip and cook for another minute, then repeat this process until all the bread is cooked.
  • Top with syrup and powdered sugar. Enjoy!
